Pregnant again? ** update**
okay so I'm so confused. my son is 10 weeks old and I've been having such weird symptoms.... I'm crazy nauseous, constipated, and I started gaining weight back.... I've only bd twice since having my son. my ob told me since I'm ebf I wouldn't be able to get pregnant for 3 months.... is it possible she was wrong? I'm so scared to take a test.....
update- not pregnant!!!  gonna go get my pills tomorrow!!!

i felt the same way.. My first two are 11 months apart. I got pregnant 6 weeks pp!!!!!
I didnt want to take a test and when i finally did i was in SHOCK!
you can do it!

It is possible. I am surprised your doc would tell you that there was no way you could get pregnant if you ebf. I would take a test.

Yeah I'm not sure why anyone would tell you that, you def could get pregnant again. I would test to be sure!

You can definitely get pregnant while bf. and you are super fertile right after a pregnancy. I'd take a test.

it is 100% possible. didnt happen to me. But to my manager. She was shocked cause her ob told her the same thing. Yep the ob was wrong

happened to my friend. She was told/thought she couldnt get pregnant. Her children were 11 months apart.
def take a test to make sure.

I am not sure why your OB told you that because it can absolutely happen. But you should always do some research as well. Nothing is 100% aside from abstinence.

Same here. When we got the go ahead to have sex she even to,d us that even though I was on the pill that we could use condoms as a back up.

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard and cannot believe you would believe this. I am sorry if that sounds harsh, but that is such BAD advice to give to a new mom.

you should def test. you can absolutely get pregnant while BF. some ladies don't ovulate when prolactin (breast milk hormone) is high but many do and MANY MANY ladies get pregnant while EBF. im sorry your doctor misinformed you! good luck!!
