Prenatal yoga in Nassau County?
Can anyone recommend a place that does prenatal yoga in the East Meadow / Mineola area? I have done a few videos at home but wanted to try an actual class. Thanks
ETA: Also, is there a timeframe for when you are allowed to do the classes? I'm at week 25 now.

Re: Prenatal yoga in Nassau County?
I'd love to know as well. I'm having a hard time finding a place that has nightly classes. Most of them are in the morning/afternoon once a week.
ETA: My friend did it throughout her entire pregnancy, so I don't think there was really a point where you shouldn't be doing it. Obviously you may have to adjust a little if you're uncomfortable.

i cant help you with locations - i go in queens. but they suggest starting in your second trimester as opposed to your first trimester...so your timing is fine.
last week was my first time going and the class i went to last weekend had people ranging from 21 weeks to 35 weeks.
enjoy the class - i loved it and wish i started it sooner
edit - whenever you find a studio check with them, some require a doctors note clearing you for it

This isn't particularly close to Mineola, but Breath N Flow Yoga in Freeport has FANTASTIC prenatal and mom/baby classes.

also wanted to mention it is yoga month, so there are a lot of studios giving you a week of free yoga. here is the link...the studio i picked allowed me to use the card towards my prenatal classes...so it cant hurt to look into it

I go in Forest HIlls - i took the saturday class. It is really an hour and a half even though the schedule says 1hr 15mins. it was from 11:45 - 1:15 and Michelle was a wonderful teacher. She said she normally teaches the thursday night class too but its a shorter
