Presents for your boss this year.
If you are buying gifts what are you buying? I usually buy books but need something new this year. They are loaded so dont "need" anything but I will get them something.
Any ideas?
TIA

Re: Presents for your boss this year.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions....I am still stumped though. These two have everything they need so I cannot give them GC's, their wine cellar is stocked, she works out all the time and is very careful about eating so dont want to send them something gourmet.....

I'm in the same boat. I give my female boss a gift every year and each year it gets harder and harder. I don't want to give her food although she likes that because I want her to have something she'll use again and again.

Re: Presents for your boss this year.
what's your budget?
I always think something from Tiffany's is nice... pair of crystal candlesticks? a necklace?
Cashmere scarf and gloves?

Re: Presents for your boss this year.
Thanks for trying Jenn627 - the candlesticks are really nice but the stuff they put on their table is all imported from Paris and costs $$$$$ so they might not be into these.
Maybe I will have to resort to books again this year.

sounds like they're really hard to shop for - especially in the $150 range.
Good luck!

Re: Presents for your boss this year.
I work in a very casual enviornment and Monday is my last day. We don't exchange gifts anyways.
I would suggest a book, a GC, some chocolate/wine, a movie/documentary, something to that affect

Re: Presents for your boss this year.
her husband just gave me a good idea. She has a nice new bathtub and loves baths. I think I will get her a book, wine and candle holder for the bathtub along with some spa goodies..maybe a fluffy robe and slippers.

Re: Presents for your boss this year.
I am giving her a really nice makeup/skincare set with 2 travel bags from Lancome. (got 1 for my co-worker too).
I got them at the outlet in Riverhead, GREAT price!
eta: regarding what to get someone who has it all... can't go wrong with a box of Godiva chocolate!
eta #2: I just saw what you said about them being healthy eaters. but who can resist Godiva?!!
how about a gorgeous crystal vase or something decorative (like a bowl) from Fortunoff? something that will go with their decor, since you've seen stuff they already own.

Re: Presents for your boss this year.
Ugh, I'm having the same problem. I have 2 bosses- 1 of is the co-founder of the company, and the other is a VP- neither of them need anything- nor do I get paid enough money to spend $100 of them. Its a wine company, so I can't give them wine. One of them is diabetic, so no chocolates, goodies for him- not even sugar free right now. The other is super health conscious- works out every day.
I'm totally stumped. I'm not in the holiday mood really either- so I don't even feel like getting them anything- PLUS both of them ignored my birthday (did not even wish me a happy birthday)- so I don't really feel like doing anything!
Bitter much? Nah.

My boss is Jewish and I got a Waterford Crystal Dreidel. I try to get something for him and his wife and thought it was appropriate as I'm from Ireland.
