Preservative Free Flu Shot???
So, I am having an incredibly difficult time finding ANYONE offering the preservative free version of the flu shot.
Has anyone else found an outlet offering this shot over the "regular" shot??
Or, are you not caring about thimerosal and getting the regular shot anyway?

I got the mercury free shot at my local Walgreens. And they seemed to have alot of them.
None of the regular doctors I called had it, so I went there.
Personally, I would only get the mercury free shot. My Dr. says the regular one is fine...but Im paranoid.

It never made sense to me that they recommend PG women not to eat certain mercury containing fish yet say its ok to get a flu shot.....
I will not in a million years put mercury in my body while pg
If you choose to get the shot by all means you should not get the one with mercury in it!

Ita!!!!!!!!!! if i didnt get the mercury free shot I WOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN ONE got mine at Walgreens

CVS... I called the 1800-SHOP CVS number and found out when the service would be at a location close to my house.

i eat no seafood whatsoever so the trace amount of mercury that may have been in my flu shot doesn't worry me one bit. i would be much more worried if i ate tuna/etc once a week.
i am happy to be protected from the flu.

Walgreen's has them! That's where I got mine. Actually, the pharmD giving them said that NYS is making them give pregnant woman the preservative free one only. It was $29.99.

The Walgreens I went to ran out pretty quickly. The supermarket near me had them but I live in VA. I would try calling all the Walgreens & asking them to hold one if they have it, then get there asap.

My dr had it. I had the pediatric version, they had to give me 2 shots of it since it's half the adult dose.

They offered the flu shot at my work last week. I filled out a special form saying I was pregnant and they gave me the preservative free shot. It was free. Check with your office and HR to see if they provide something.
