Prilosec (omeprazole) and missed period
Does anyone take Prilosec or Omeprazole?
Any issues with delayed/missed period?

I used to take Omeprazole for at least a year or two. I've never had issue with AF. Mostly regular, that is between 28-32 days for me.

i've taken it for years, but my period is always 28-33.
is it supposed to cause delayed or missed periods?

Never had an issue with it screwing up my period, and I have taken it for years at a high RX dose.

Thanks. After being 11 days late, my period finally came today. I'm usually pretty regular, and the only addition was the prilosec so I was thinking maybe it was related.
Also glad to hear that people have been taking this for a long time. Of course the box says no more than 2 weeks. I'm actually taking the drug for its side effects, not for its acid cutting properties, and I will probably be on it for a very long time.
