Im sorry but the bigger issue is that a magazine can post this type of picture on the cover of a magazine and it is "no big deal" Celebs need to be aware of their surroundings but if you see the pictures they are clearly in a remote area--what if she had been walking through her own house topless and the paps got a shot of her shirtless, how can they be allowed to post this on the cover of a magazine. I think it is disgusting.

I think they thought they were secluded. The publisher of the French magazine has implied she also has pictures of them having sex and of Kate smoking.

ITA. She does minimal work, when compared to other European royals, compared to the 90 year old Duke, but gets lots of benefits. If having to keep your bikini top on while on a luxury vacation is one of the tradeoffs, well, I'd deal.

I get everyone saying she needs to be more careful, but they thought they were alone, far away from prying camera lenses. That someone took these and published them...her topless, possibly having pictures of them having sex...that's scary, to think that someone is always, always, always watching.

I understand people saying that she should have known what may happen but then we are also saying that she cannot even let down her guard for even a minute or even on her honeymoon in a secluded place. As Americans I do not think that most of us understand that topless sunbathing is not quite so scandalous in some places.

I agree.... it's still a huge invasion of privacy & wrong of them to do that, but it was dumb of her to be naked/having sex in public as a royal knowing that she is constantly being stalked by paparazzi... she had to know it could happen.

I think it is creepy and wrong. Really bad. And I think the pap is a jerk.
However, that being said, just don't do it. Go to a tanning salon and tan your boobies. I have never been topless tanning. I am just to nervous and there is no one that is getting paid millions to get a snapshot of my girls. I just think it was a stupid move. I saw a bunch of pics on a sit and one looked like she was leaning on him and I "think" it looked like he was pulling down her bottom also. I could be wrong because it was really fuzzy. So really, you know who you are.. do that stuff inside. If someone was taking pics through a window.. now then, I would think that person should be thrown in jail.
But, all in all, it's a big invasion of privacy and I agree that these paps are scum. I am not saying that I think the paps were right to take and post those pics. I hope they sue them for every dollar they can. But, I do think they should have used more discretion.

After reading the article apparently the pictures were taken from over a 1/2 mile away. Give me break, they may be royal, but they are human. I just don't understand how it is legal for someone to publish naked pictures of ANYBODY without their consent. That is the real problem here,not that the poor girl didn't want a tan line. What's right is right, and this is wrong.
