Look at his father's - formal on the shoulder.
William and Kate - pressed together
Diana and Charles - little space between the heads
I just think Kate and William actually look like they are in love in this picture.

I must be alone in thinking that Diana is not as beautiful as everyone else makes her to be. Beautiful person, perhaps. Beautiful - not so much.
Kate, on the other hand, is gorgeous.
I wholeheartedly agree.
It's sad looking at that picture of Princess Diana. Her eyes are just so sad, even though she is smiling.

But did you wear your late MIL ering and same color blouse too?
It's not the pose that is creepy. It's the whole look alike to the outfit that is.

I don't know. Yes, it's not "exactly" the same but it's just too many things that are similar.

I think Diana became much more beautiful as she got older... she was only 19 in this picture, but I've seen pictures of her in her thirties & she was stunning!!!
Kate of course is gorgeous too!!!
It is a little weird how similar the two pictures are when you look at them side by side, but I agree that it's a common engagement pose.

I agree, except, looks like Kate is pulling a bit away in the pic.. just like looks like Charles is a little cold towards Diana. Diana, is hanging on Charles, and William is more into Kate.
That's what it looks like to me.
Very similar pics though, and I think she could've picked a different color to wear. Or, here's an idea... do an outfit change!

I think that's a pretty standard pose for a couple shot--
And I personally think Diana was beautiful-- I mean, not everyone looks like this.. She was a kid in that engagement shot.
