Yes, I also thought it was a great episode. I was thinking about that cliff hanger all summer, and they did not disappoint. I still want to know who the father is!

we don't know the father because she was sleeping with both pete and the other dr/counselor at the same time
episode was great, i couldn't wait to see what happened, they really did a good job making violet look on the brink of death

Re: Private Practice--anyone watch?
Yea...it was an AWESOME episode! The way they made her look was unreal. And I think Kate Walsh is a really good actress, when she broke down at the end, I was in tears FOR her. She was exhausted, physically and emotionally and I felt it.
I have a feeling that they are going to make the baby's father the other doctor (not Pete, cant remember his name.) I think they will make it a sticky situation because she chose Pete as the one she wants to be with. Next weeks looks so good too. Really liking this show.

i thought the episode was really good. i really didn't think violet was going to make it and i figured they would drag out finding the baby too!
the coming attractions really upset me though when i heard what violet says about the baby!

Re: Private Practice--anyone watch?
I agree after the season finale I was worried they wouldn't match the intensity, but boy was I wrong! I thought it was fantastic! I want the father to be Pete, but I have a feeling it will be Sheldon's baby. I think the promo for next week looks good and I can only imagine the anxiety and depression she must be feeling. I really hope they play this out in a good way, and not an over done way. Does that make sense?

Totally makes sense. I think they will do well with it. I thought they were going to drag out the baby being missing and was shocked when he was found in that episode, which actually made it better due to the shock factor. I cant imagine the depression after having your baby literally ripped from you. It took me a while to feel a connection with my DD (about a day) because I had a c section and didnt hold her until HOURS later. Imagine it happening that way??? My Lord! I cant wait to see how the rest of the season plays out.
