What a brutal episode. When she was describing the reality verus TV where your mind goes somewhere else...

I never watch this show but caught it last night because someone I know was talking about.
And WOW what an episode.
And my stomach was in knots when the attacker was being questioned
Excellent acting last night.

I agree with Barb, I do not think she is going to end up pregnant. I do think, however, this will make her realize what is important to her though and make her want to get married and start a family with Cooper. While they have had violence before, I feel like this episode was so powerful and, unfortunately, so relate-able to so many people  . I really hope that she turns around and will testify against the guy so he can be put away and not do this to another woman. He is obviously sick and needs help!

I think even if Charlotte still doesn't want to tell what happened to her, Sheldon is going to put it all together.
Great episode. KaDee Strickland was phenomenal.

This was my first time seeing this show and I was hooked!! What a powerful performance. I agree with the PP that mentioned how she referred to how the movies portray vs the reality. So scary. Can't wait to see next week what happens.
ETA- Also, even if Charlotte doesn't want to say what happened to her (I dont remember her name) she has a legal right to report it. Can't she get penalized for not saying anything?

I thought the episode was great for a TV show. Fantastic acting, and edge of your seat kinda night. However, I thought it was completely far fetched.
First, there is no way a doctor wouldn't have done a rape kit. They just put her in a room without going to the ER? Addison was going to give her the day after pill and HIV cocktail, why would she need that if she wasn't raped? How is she going to put that in the medical records? She just walked right out of the hospital after being there for a few hours?
I know I am probably reading WAAAYYY to much into this as it is a TV show, but I think that a woman who is brutally raped and beaten thinks that this could be the way it happens when it get to this hospital.....and I don't think it is.
If they were trying to promote awareness and show what women go through...I don't know if the necessarily did a good job.....
I wonder how long it will take Sheldon to figure out that the prisoner he was talking to raped her? If he even does?
Looking forward to next weeks show.....

Well, since she's the Chief of Staff I think she was able to get away with things that a normal person wouldn't.
I couldn't sleep at all last night. I had to watch a bunch of comedies after.
The look in her eyes at the end in that last scene.
Overall I think it was done really well.

I was crying so much during this episode. I think the actress who plays Charolette did an amazing job with this. The last few scenes I was cringing it was awful. When she described how it really felt to be raped I was just so sad for her. This show is getting better again after a boring start.

What a moving episode. Charlotte did an amazing job. I saw her on a few talk shows and she said she had to train so hard to do this role. She went to counseling groups, dealt with actual rape victims, took sensitivity courses, etc.
I wanted Sheldon to find out last night but I guess they are going to carry that out a bit. I was just so sad after the show that I couldnt even fall asleep.

amazing episode. i got chills at one point - i think it was the look in her eyes.
"Charlotte" has not really been a likeable character - I think Shonda Rhimes is so incredibly talented. The way they worked Sheldon into the prison psych program several episodes ago so that he would be the one to interview the rapist? brilliant.

they're definitely going to put it together... between sheldon interviewing the guy, her wallet being untouched, her underwear in the office, and addison knowing - there's no way they're not going to find out!
plus in the previews it kinda shows them questioning whether they think she was really raped and not robbed.
charlotte was amazing in the episode! how the heck did the makeup artists make her eye look like that? it looked so real!!
how were hte police not suspecting him to be the guy that beat charlotte??? a random guy walking down the street with blood on his clothes and a woman beaten in the hospital without the suspect in custody yet... all they'd have to do is look at the security tapes! maybe that's what they will do and that's how they will find out she was raped

I'm pretty sure she locked her underwear in the drawer.
It was a very difficult episode to watch - I cringed through most of it...especially the last scene. Ugh.

I was watching and had to remind myself to breathe several times. I was waiting for the commercials just for the break in tension. I could not sleep after it either. Those last scenes....woah.
I think it will all come out for sure but they will probably drag it out.
I think she locked her wallet/underwear in the drawer.

I was crying from the start. I honestly don't know how a woman recovers from such a brutal violation.
When she said to Pete that it hurt most in her soul I think was probably the most powerful statement of the show. Sexual violation robs so many levels of a person.
I definitely think this will change the character of Charlotte forever. Her and Cooper were a very sexual couple. She's not going to just jump right back into that and I will be curious how they play the rape out in their relationship.

It has to come out if not from Charlotte, then from Addison. I think Addison is going to crack from all this and end up telling either Sam or Amelia.

I watched it last night as well. WOW! What an episode. I am actually shocked Addison didn't tell anyone. You could tell she is absolutely tormented by this and is have an inner battle about what to do.
