Product rave for moms who color their hair at home...
I guess this is F&B related but I feel weird posting there So out of desperation yesterday I picked this Fekkai salon color box at Ricky's ($30). Cheapie hair color has never been great for me, and my days of $150 color and touchups are out for now (I just feel guilty spending that dough when I'm not working).
So since I have more roots than Alex Hailey I was looking for something "in between" $9 L'Oreal and megabucks salon color....
Well here it is,
Did it last night and I'm AMAZED at how true the color is, how SHINY my hair is, and how much BETTER this stuff is than drugstore brands!!!!
We'll see how it "wears" but so far I'm impressed!!!!

Thank you so much for posting this. I was just saying to myself that my hair needs touching up and I don't want to spend 150 bucks for it. Im excited to try. I use other products in this brand, such as shampoo and conditioner and it works great.

Cool!
BTW - stupid me was sitting here trying to figure out why this thread would belong in Food & Beverage (I have a F&B background ) when you obviously meant Fashion & Beauty - especially since the real name is Food & Recipes!! It really took me a few minutes like

Thank you so much for posting this here! I never go to the F&B board- no time.
I started coloring my own hair- to the point where my salon sent me a card saying they miss me but I feel like it washes out. I like the way it looks for about 3 weeks. I am dying to try this now!
Let us know how it wears please!

Good to know, I also feel guilty going to the salon for $$$ color and/or highlights so I've been doing the at home route since DS has been born. It suucks I think because it barely lasts 3 weeks before my grays are showing again. Give us an update in a few weeks and let us know how it's holding up!
