progesterone users please come in
My dr wants to start me on progesterone suppositories because my #'s were a little bit lower than he wants.
So they got delivered today and I am a little confused and my dr is closed until Monday.
1. Are you supposed to keep the progesterone refigerated? I thought I heard him say that but it doesnt say that anywhere and they did not get delivered cold.
2. I have the 8% gel and I thought he told me to use it everyday but when I read the pamphlet it came with it said every other day.
I am so confused

Re: progesterone users please come in
Oh the joys of progesterone suppositories!!!
I keep mne refrigerated bc they are easy to use when they are fully solid. I would just go by what your doctor told you and use them every day. I have to take 2 a day - 1 in the morning and 1 at night.
One bit of advice... lay down for like 10 min after puttng them in. They will leak and it's pretty nasty. I would also use a pantyliner.
Good Luck!

Re: progesterone users please come in
obviously I'm crashing but I was on progesterone suppositories and kept mine in the fridge just because it made them more comfortable to use. They were really waxy and keeping them refrigerated made it less messy. They didn't NEED to be refrigerated- but I heard it was preference. I also used them everyday.
If you have questions about it and your dr's office is closed you can also give a call in to the pharmacy.

are you using Crinone? If so it does NOT need to be refrigerated and I used it everyday in the morning because it works better if you're active. Good luck

Crinone does NOT need to go in the fridge!! I thought you were using the regular waxy ones.. Crinone is so much better!
Anyway like the other poster said- use it in the morning. My dr told me that too because it gets absorbed better when you're moving around.
Ok, now I am seriously going back to my own territory!
