Re: protocol for fet
I am doing my first FET right now. I am having my transfer tomorrow. It has been very easy so far. I have been taking estrace pills, either 2 or 3 times a day, starting on CD1. Had blood work and sono done twice, got my call on friday that my transfer would be on wed. I started taking PIO this past weekend in preparation for my transfer.
I had my fresh cycle done in March which resulted in a BFN. I have been waiting since then to do FET.
Hope this helped!! Good Luck!

Re: protocol for fet
I am on my third frozen transfer. I go in on CD2 for blood and sono - start Estrace 2X a day CD2 thru CD6, then up to 3X a day CD7 thru CD13- back for blood and sono. If lining is good, in for transfer on CD15. Starting on CD13 I do PIO shots thru CD15 and Doxycyclene, Methyprednisone, Baby Aspirin, Estrace and Progesterone Supplements from CD15 To Beta.
As far as what you should do...I would stim again and get as many eggs for a transfer as possible. If the next cycle goes well, they can transfer that one frozen with the fresh.

Good Luck in your decision. It is so hard. But maybe with this new Dr. you will do better on stims.

Re: protocol for fet
I am also in the middle of a FET protocol. My doctor has not given me estrogen pills, instead patches. They took a a few days to get used to, but they are now really easy to deal with. I will start PIO shots this weekend, and my transfer will be on Tuesday. We had five frozen embryos, and decided to use 2 this time around.
I must say... this is so much easier on my body and emotions than a fresh cycle.
Good luck!

Re: protocol for fet
My friend just completed her FET...
She did a fresh cycle at Cornell which resulted in BFN...she had a 5 day transfer with 2 blasts...I think she was over stimmulated....
Her FET was all natural, no medications at all...just sono monitoring & blood work...she just got her BFP!!!!!!
Good luck to you!!
