Provera Question
For those who had to go on Provera to bring down your period, how long did it take before your period finally showed up and what dosage did your doctor prescribe? I'm on day 6 and *nothing*.

I am on the 10 day pill and AF usually shows up 2-3 days later but I know that everyone responds different.

usually 3-5 days, my doc told me to call her if I didn't get it after day 5.

The first time I took it, I think it was 5 or 6 days after I finished the pills.
I think I had to take it twice after that and each time AF came in less time.

Okay so wait. I'm not supposed to get AF until AFTER I'm done taking the pills? I am to take one pill a day for 10 days. So I should expect AF 5 or 6 days after all the pills have been taken?

Yes, you will get AF after you finish the pills for 10 days. The whole process, soup to nuts (taking the pills and getting AF) takes about 2 weeks
