PSA - Munire Furniture
My mom was at BBB to buy our Jefferson collection Munire nursery set, and we were shocked to find out that they went bankrupt last week. We spoke with a few people at the store and everyone is shocked, they were doing big business! We ended up switching it to the Stratton with Westwood, but just an FYI, Munire is no longer in business (and they are one of the top rated in Baby Bargains!)

oh wow, this is one of the sets we really liked when we looked last month. We went back this weekend to see it again and it was no longer on display. I guess this explains it.

FYI - They filed a chapter 11 voluntary petition. It does not necessarily mean they are no longer in business.

that's what I mean, thank you - bankruptcy.... however it was presented to us as they went out of business as NO products were available any longer (through BBB).

Not surprising to me. I have furniture from their echelon line and it succkkkkksss. The paint job is not good and it chips easily. I expected better quality from an expensive brand.

This is not the first time Munire has gone "bankrupt". They declare Chapter 11 so they don't have to pay their vendors and then restructure.
I know this because my FIL had Munire as a customer until they declared Chapter 11 and then stuck them with a large bill.
I love two Munire cribs, but obviously not going there being that they shorted my husband's family.
