PSA: a lesson learned pesonally
please make sure that all your papers are all in order... i can not say this enough. the he ll i am going through to get all this done in my name is a nightmare. i understand that sometimes it may seem better to have the bills in one name but please make sure BOTH names are on the paper work of everything. and if it can not be please make sure you have the estate papers ready to go if god forbid needed. to switch the house into my name has been nothing but a royal pain in the butt. just when i thought i had it all settled nope i had wrong papers filled out and these where the papers i recieved from the town itself. some companies will allow you to add the so as a secondary on the paper work with out your name showing as ownership of. PLEASE I can not exspess this enough. Sorry to keep bring it up but i know some of you are thinking oh i will do it. well that is what me and keith where going to do actually 2 weeks from his passing but we never made it to that appointment. and i may seem like a royal pain in the butt about it but i really do not want to see some one have to go through the pain i am.
just looking out for you all, janet
