PSA: Car Dealer RAVE

For those of you looking right now, DH and I brought our brand new Mazda CX9 home tonight.

We got it from Wantagh Mazda. We had a great experience there and did not feel like they were pushy at all, or tried to manipulate us in any way.

We ended up leasing and they gave us what we felt was a great deal towards our POS car so we didn't really have to put anything down except for the first month payment and fees like for DMV and such.

Believe it or not, my car actually died in front of the dealership tonight when we brought it in to do the exchange. (We think it was the battery/alternator).

The salesman was really good about it and took the car anyways without giving us any problems or expecting us to put more money down.

When I first started our search we were quoted ridiculous numbers from other dealers for monthly lease or finance payments, not to mention thousands of dollars down. We were also only shown the highest end vehicles at places, or told they didn't have a well known vehicle in stock and we had to request the booklet to be mailed to us online (?????!!!!!!).

I highly recommend this place, especially if you are considering one of their vehicles, or something in comparison.

Also what I liked about them, was when we went in last night to meet with the finance guy, he got us in and out in 15 minutes. He gave us the booklets of all the "extras" to read at our own leisure and didn't push anything on us. If we wanted to buy something extra, we just could contact them prior to picking up the vehicle.

I know so many dealerships are NOT like this, especially for those of us who really are overwhelmed about car shopping so I just wanted to share my great experience.

We got our CX9 from them too almost 2 months ago...its a great truck, you're going to love it! And they ROCK!

we got a mazda 3 from them. they were great... and they had a really good trade in price for the civic but we ended up selling it instead

I didn't buy my two mazdas from them but I have used them for service and once when we were shopping for my Mazda6

I will say they were AWESOME

And the service is GREAT
