PSA: FP Rainforest Travel Swing has been recalled
I don't know the details of the recall, or if it affects the regular swings, but we tried to buy it at both Target and BRU and they wouldn't sell it to us.

hmmm are you sure? I just checked the Fisher price website and the last recall they had on there is from 2/15/2007 and the Rainforest travel swing is not on there. I would think if they recalled it the company would have it on their own website

Two different stores wouldn't let us walk out of the store with it because it had been recalled. When they scanned it something came up on the computer. It was still on the floor, but I know from working retail that it was probably brand new and they hadn't done stock yet.
Like I said, I think it was brand new.
