Psychic readings, tarot cards etc...

I am curious to know about your experiences with psychic readings or cards or anything of the like. I'd love to try it someday. Not sure if I'd be into it though.

I had a reading (tarot) done a few weeks back, and she was dead on.

I've gone twice, both were just readings, no cards. The first woman had some things to say that were pretty accurate which freaked me out a bit, the second one had no clue; she kept talking about my art work, needless to say, I can barely draw a stick figure!

I don't believe any of it. I went to a palm reader once and some of the thigs she said actually happened... but they were general things.

I had a psychic reading. I had no rings on.. She knew I was getting married the minute I sat down and knew the limo I was having knew things about my wedding. knew things about me...

I have had two "readings."
The first told me some general things, and one specific, personal thing that I laughed at at the time. It later ended up being RIGHT on.
The second reading was full of some really accurate stuff as well. I ended up in tears.
I know it is easy to be skeptical, especially when a lot of the info told is so general. I do believe though that there are some people out there who can "see/feel" things others cannot.
On the flip side, I am sure there are an equal number of people out there talking out of their arses.

I have a great psychic! She's actually more of my friend now than my psychic. She doesnt tell you anything bad like a true "fortune teller". She tells you things that you can change so that bad things dont happen. The first time I met her (3 years ago), she told me that I was going to marry my DH now and we would be having a baby boy shortly after. At that time, I was still married to my ex hubby.

Went to 2...both were dead wrong. 1 indicated for $80 she could remove a curse.

For me to believe in one, they're going to have to pin down that I'm a twin.

Also I'm pretty sure if there are psychics, in my travels I would have encountered one & would have got punched for snotty thoughts.

I'm undecided on the medium thing..ie John Edwards thing. My childhood friend vacations with him & his family often. If it's not real, there is no doubt in my mind that he believes it's real.

I went to two

one did the cards - and said nothing true or close to true

the other was in Salem, MA and they did something with tiles -- whatever he said was a load of cr-p as well.

Although, I know people who go to mediums and sware by them

The only time I went to a Tarot reader was in college and the woman told me I lost someone I loved in my past and my future would have a bumpy road untill I found what I wanted. Wow, what a genius. That was a waste of beer and laundry money!

A friend of mine does this & she scares the crap out of me all the time with the stuff she can do. She is really talented.

I believe people have "power" but I dont live my life by what they say. I have gone to people that before I took my coat off told me things that I damn near fell over. I have also gone to people that have told me things that I was like who are you talking about?? they were so wrong. I think it just depends. I am looking for someone great now, so if anyone has a great person let me know.

my dh went to one years ago, before i knew he exsisted and she todl him several things that came true.

i don't believe in them, personally.

My Aunt is a pychic and she is so good it's scary.

I went to one my Mom had gone to right before I went to college. She told me 3 BIG things that eventually came true. The only problem is finding one who is legit!

Have gone a few times. Sometimes right on the money (chilling actually)
other times what they said they could have said to you, my mom or my boss and it could be molded into life.

I somewhat think everytime I go, something bad happens to me so I stopped.

My mom had a great psychic - but doesn't know where he went.

I will let you know how much I believe after this baby is born -- if it is a boy, I will be a believer for life!

I went to a woman years ago who was dead on right regarding meeting my DH and that was 2 years before I meet him. She also told me about a comcern I had that I still to this day have NEVER told anyone about. But then my sis ter found her this year at one of those restaurant readings and she was dead wrong about my sister and all her friends. Now I don't know what to think.

Psychic, tarot cards, etc. - eh...not a fan of people who can "predict the future"


Mediums...like Robert E. Hansen...I respect, but so far he's the only one I trust & believe in.
