psychologist
Has anyone ever taken a child to a psychologist for shyness and self confidence? If so, any recommendations?

NYU Child Study Center in Lake Success. There are some excellent psychologists there. My son received treatment there for a difficult to treat anxiety disorder (selective mutism) and is doing incredibly well. He completely lost his diagnosis and now has no issues talking to anyone. He received weekly therapy for 9 months.
