How long do you pump for each session?

Re: Pumping at work?
right now I'm doing 10 minutes, but I think I have to eat oatmeal or something to boost my production - I don't make enough milk to get DD through the next day...Thank goodness I have a stash in the freezer...
What are you doing?
(see you at Gymboree on Sunday?)

Same here. About 10 minutes. I started Fenugreek capsules to see if that helps production. Adding oatmeal to diet tomorrow. Ugh.

Yes, I plan to be there and I actually just fixed my work schedule for July so I'm off Wed/Fr and can take him to the Wednesday class. Did you go to Connections? I skipped it.
This is only my 2nd day back and it looks like I'm averaging 5-6oz a session - about 15-minutes. I have also been getting up before Ryan (this morning I got up when DH left for work at 5AM) and pumping. I get 9-10oz then (I do under 10-minutes b/c I'm always nervous I'll tap myself dry and he'll wake up and I won't have anything to give him. I went back to sleep after I pumped and had to wake him at 7:15 to feed him and get him ready to go.

Don't worry about tapping yourself dry. The baby is much more efficient than even the strongest hospital grade pump. In fact, pumping then feeding will boost your supply.
To answer your original question, I pump for 10-20 minutes depending on whether or not I checked the clock when I started and remember what it said.
