Re: Pumpkin Picking Suggestions- Eastern Suffolk
Last year, we got killed in 3 hours of traffic each way when it should have taken about 30 min round trip. This year we are going to try Windy Acres Farm in Calverton. We went strawberry picking there and it was very nice. They had awesome climbing toys for the kids and a farm stand for other things if you want.

I am the laziest person ever and HATE east end traffic in the fall so I take my kids pumpkin picking in Smithtown or East Setauket. LOL
I've heard wonderful things about Herbes Farm, but we've never been.
HAVE FUN!!!

We went to Hanks, Harbes, and Helens this year. (on 105)
I think Harbes was the best. They had animals, the duck races, a few climbers, pony rides, etc...
Helen was mean, lol, but the produce there was awesome.
Hanks was expensive, and really crowded.
We're going to Brightwaters Farms this weekend. It's a cute little place close to home.
