why dont you check out their website before you start saying how they get their puppies from puppy mills, that is not true and if they did the mall obviously wouldnt allow them to open a shop if they did considering puppy mills are illegal..... do your research next time before you start spreading lies thanks 
I am quoting this even though the post is old but the American Dog Club was founded by puppy mill owners so the could sell their puppy mill dogs as "papered" dogs. They don't hold their breeders to high genetic standard testings so you have inbreeding. They have also been found to buy their dogs for Brandi Cheney which is one of the worst puppy mills in the USA. More information on a report done on NYS Pet Stores...Report

I was hoping someone would post about this, I saw a few weeks ago that it looked like they were going to open. I had hoped that the mall had receieved such backlash that they were not going to open...
What can we do besides boycott the mall, because honestly, a handful of boycotters isn't going to do much.
Is anyone going to be protesting, because I would gladly join in.

So I posted a comment the other day on the malls fb page. Today some girl writes back saying she works there and they all come from breeders and are well taken care of (yeah right) I was going back and forth with her, in an appropriate way, and the next thing I know our whole convo was deleted and now only my original comment is there! Im so mad!

I'm pretty sure they've got the owner and friends posting on the mall's wall and pretty much deleting most of the negative comments.

Nothing from Dori yet, but I was reminded of Jon Cooper, the Democrat who got the animal abuser registry enacted, and who was working to regulate pet stores (baby steps - getting them closed is a long road). I did a search on him and it looks like he's considering running for some public office again. I've never looked up to a politician before  but here's more about him:

Yup, didn't get much traction. I think the only threads regarding pets that do well in FHF involve drama about giving up a pet after the birth of a child.

Thanks for sharing this on FHF. I'm never on this board b/c I don't have any pets but am a huge dog lover. I feel bad for the pups b/c it's not their fault but stores like this will never ever get my business. It's disgusting. Shame on Smithhaven mall for not only allowing this store to open but for sticking up for them on their FB page (although I guess they really can't say anything against their tenant).

I love how my fb feed is blowing up with friends commenting on Smith Haven's fb page about how disgusting they are. I've made several comments myself. I would definitely be interested in attending a protest.

We should start posting about a protest and see when people will go. I will go. I want this stopped NOW. I almost am tempted to go there just to give those puppies a little love but I'm so scared they aren't healthy and can't risk my baby girl getting sick if I touch them. I'm heart broken.

Ok Here we go! Let's try to make a dent and educate the public as to where puppy stores get their puppies!!!! AGAIN!!! American Dog Club has opened it's doors at Simon Malls in Lake Grove, NY. From what we are told, Mr. Gordon insists his puppies do not come from puppy mills. We disagree vehemently and have USDA papers telling me otherwise! Not to mention some puppy mills with multiple violations, including Circle B Farms-Bill Clarke, Kenna Kennels and the infamous Judy Gray who's blatant neglect and abuse are incomprehensible.
