I'm so sorry to hear this. A very similar story to ours with our Max. He was 17 lbs and down to 9 when we put him down. The vet said the same thing. We put him down on Jan. 19.
He's at peace now, but I'm still so heartbroken.

Sometimes I say to myself that I don't even know why I have pets because I serious hyperventilate when I look at them and think one day of these decisions

Thanks everyone, I can't express how much it means. Sometimes people don't realize how much a pet becomes part of your family. I know she's in a better place now.

I'm so sorry about your kitty. It is so hard to lose someone that you care about so much. I lost my Chablis 2 months ago and I still cry every day, I miss her so much, although the pain does ease with time, and like your kitty she is in a better place now.

I am so sorry for you rloss.
I am going through this with my 'old man'. He has cancer and is down to 8 pounds from 14. I TOTALLY understand what you went through. It's very hard, but she's no longer suffering
