Putting a box spring out to the curb?
We arranged for a pickup of a Queen-size box spring for tomorrow. I have to put it out tonight.
Silly question - where do I put it in front of my house? If I lay it down, it will overlap the sidewalk and go into the street - and there is nothing to really lean it up against without putting it into the street.
We can't even leave our cars out on the street overnight and I am worried about getting fined for leaving the box spring leaning against a tree in the street.
Am I making any sense?

Re: Putting a box spring out to the curb?
It's getting picked up tomorrow morning - I am in Valley Stream.
I just consulted with a neighbor and we left it flat down covering a little bit of the sidewalk and a bit of the street.
Thanks for your help!
