Q about cleaning medela pump in style tubing
So my tubing keeps getting milk splatter or condensation in it right by the plastic piece that attaches to the pump. I can't seem to get it out when i wash it because it is so hard to wash - how do you wash the tubing? Is it ok that i am still pumpin even though these tubes are not entirely clean and clear? And, when i wash them they are sooo hard to dry!

You can "shake" the tubes to remove as much water as possible. Then hook them to the pump and let it run empty.
When you are done pumping, remove the shields and bottles and let the pump run for another 1-2 minutes (per the manual) to dry the condensation.

Thank you! I've been doing this but for some reason there are still specks of milk (i think) that are on the tubing by the beige plug thing...

u can get the medela bags that clean them they re really cheap.

buybuybaby sells these bags that you put water into and the tubing and microwave it to clean them.

i love these bags!! i got them at bru. after i microsteam the tubes i just hang them from my kitchen cabinet to truly dry out.
i don't clean the tubing often. i'm not sure how often you are suppose to, but the milk never goes through it, so it can't be that often, i guess.

You can also pour some rubbing alcohol into the tubs and hang it up. It's supposed to dry it up well! ( as per manual)
