Q about follie size and trigger
do you know what an ideal follicle size is before taking a trigger shot for IUI? I went into the doc this morning and i had a 25.5 mm follie, as well as a 19.5, 18, and 17mm follie. The nurse wanted me to wait a little longer before triggering for my IUI, but said if doing the IUI tomorrow is convenient for me (my doc does them 24 hours after trigger) then she could give me the trigger. I had her give me the trigger shot anyway, since I had a feeling if i waited I would have too many mature follies and my cycle would be cancelled... but i'm just wondering if a 19.5 and 18 mm follie still have a chance of releasing? Also is 25.5 considered over-mature? TIA!

Those all sound fine to me. The 19.5 and 18 should also grow a little more from the trigger before they release.

IMO 25 is a bit too big. i def wouldnt wait to do the trigger, that seems counterproductive! the others are perfect though. the trigger will help them mature more before they release.

ok thanks! yeah i made the decision for the nurse to trigger me this morning for IUI tomorrow, fingers crossed! thanks again!
