Q for those that have the medela pump in style -cleaning tubing prior to use?
I just got new tubing and can't remember what i did before first using them and dont have the manual anymore - do I sterilize the tubing? Wash it in soap and water? Boil it? for how long? TIA!

I soaked it on warm soapy water and boiled it before using it.
I had to swing the tubes around to get the water out though. very annoying.
Not sure if you need to, since the tubes aren't touching the milk at all.

I never cleaned them. Its just air going thru. Some condensation builds up in the tubing after a while.
