Qucik help please! Directions
Does nayone know how tog t to Washington DC? I know I have to get on I 95, but do I go through Brooklyn/Verrazano/Outerbridge, etc...or do I go Manhattan, Holland Tunnel. Mapquest says to go through manhattan. Which is better? Coming from So Queens..near Kennedy.

(I know I'm stupid to be asking now as I'm about to leave soo, but I'm just so used to asking my dad for directions last minute..habits are hard to break)

i usually take the verazanno, to the outerbridge or the goethals, then 95 south.
have a safe drive!
ETS: manhattan is technically the 'shortest' route, but i never take that way.

Thanks..so if you go over the goethals or outerbridge it will tell you how to get to 95?
I figured this was how we would go, but I wasn't sure if I needed the turnpike or the GSP or what....

When you go over the verazanno make sure you stay to the left. There will be tons of signs to get you to the turnpike (95).

Mapquest had be driving through Brooklyn to the Manhattan Bridge and then to the Holland. That's not my idea of fun!

haha - yeah, it does that, I hate it.
Just a warning, there's construction on 278 after you cross over the verazanno, so try to get over as quickly as you can. good luck!
ETS: at one point you'll get on 295 (to cross the delaware bridge) but it will direct you back to 95.
try maps.google.com, it will essentially help you 'drive' your whole trip.
