Question about 1st foods....
so far, Cailen loves the squash the most. He likes the sweet potatoes, tolerates the carrots.
I want to try the sweet peas. I know green veggies make babies gassy, I just give a few bites at a sitting, but will he not like it because it is less sweet that the other veggies?
I also gave him a jar of banana, which he liked. I really havent given him too much fruit though...
so, BTDT moms - how dod they like peas? Just curious....

My dd likes them just fine. If Cailen doesn't like the peas as is, try missing them with carrots.

Haven't given Jayden green veggies yet, but Nate was OK with peas and green beans. I remember him giving me a a weird face like.... This is not as sweet as the other stuff, but they ate it. When we moved to the 2nd Spinach, Nate wanted nothing to do with it.

Steven liked the peas but they made him way too gassy and he just couldn't handle them.
Maybe introduce them with the carrotts. So put just a spoon of peas inside the carrotts. This way it will cut the gas, and then you can do the peas seperately when he gets used to them that way.

They made the most horrible face the first time they had peas - actually, for a lot of foods they did that. By the next day they were eating it up. Try it again.

Actually the peas are sweet. DD loved them and green beans. I never noticed more gassiness in her when she ate the green veggies.

DD loved the peas. The string beans she likes. The peas didn't make her have more gas, but the strings beans did...Not to bad though

I didn't give her peas because I heard they make babies gassy and she had enough problems with gas. Now at almost 2, she loves peas!!!

Lance liked peas, he was not a huge fan of green beans. I didn't notice that they made him any more gassy.
