Question about airlines
How far in advance do they release tickets?
I'm traveling Jet Blue to Buffalo in April but returning on May 1st. April flights have been available for months but I am not able to book it because they didn't release May yet.
I figured they would have been released on Dec 1st - that's 5 months away. April has been available since September.

Re: Question about airlines
A travel agent told me it was usually 300 days.
I'd call and ask, though.

Re: Question about airlines
Alot of the discount airlines.. JetBlue, Southwest, etc. are on different release schedules than the majors.
Southwest, I know, is pretty random. Sometimes its 4 months in advance, sometimes its 6. When I call to ask, the customer service rep rarely knows, so I just keep checking the website.

Re: Question about airlines
I believe Jet Blue is 6 months, but many other airlines are much longer. I know that I would love to start planning for next summer, but I'll have to wait because we want to fly Jet Blue out of our local airport.
