Question about Cell Phones:

Does anyone know HOW to go directly into someone's voicemail? I heard that there's a way to call someone but bypass them seeing that you are calling so that you go directly to leaving them a message. I have a few rude family members who do this to avoid talking to people... nice, right? LOL but there's someone who keeps kind of harrassing my DH to work for him and he is not interested and just wants to leave it on the voicemail so he doesn't have to deal with the guy...

So, since I know that IT exists-- does anyone know HOW to do it??

I have Verizon and to leave a message for someone, you dial your voicemail and then you press 2 to send a message. Then it prompts you to enter the person's phone #. After you enter it, you hear their name if it is a Verizon customer, but their # if they are not and then you can leave a message.

So you can do this to anyone with a cell phone but only with people who have Verizon will it say their name?

Wow. Amazing.

I mean, I would never do this normally but this guy is bothering DH. I know people who do this to everyone! It's like it's such a BOTHER to TALK to someone which is just mean. But this guy just won't take no for an answer so that's why.

As far as I know, it can be done to anyone with a cell phone. It's been a long time since I did this - I think the last time was when I was trying to "phase out" a guy I was dating
