Question about dentist-re crowns
So my dentist told me my crown has a small crack in it and he wants to replace it. So I have an appt tonight to take the impression for the new crown. From my recollection the impression should take about 10 minutes...any idea why he's scheduled me in for ONE HOUR?? What can he do without the new crown?? Now I'm freaking out. Not the best patient.

Re: Question about dentist-re crowns
He probably has to drill off the old crown, clean up the prep, cord, take the impression and then make you a new temp. It should be less than an hour but they probably gave you the time to be on the safe side

Re: Question about dentist-re crowns
Thanks for the reply! Do you think he'll numb me for all that? I hate the needle, but I hate pain, but I hate being numb for 3 hours too....hahaha. I'm becoming such a wimp lately. I used to love the dentist believe it or not!
