Question about feeding/bottles
My little one is 14 weeks; right now she eats 7 ounces, every 4 hours give or take, 5 times a day. We start the oatmeal (gonna speak to pedi about skipping rice cereal due to her slight constipation issues) at 4 months. Can someone give me an example of how you work it into her schedule? I know the doc will review with me but I'm getting anxious! How many times a day, do I eventually drop one of her bottles, etc. I would like to make her 10:30 bottle happen earlier, more like 9:30, b/c I'm tired and it gets tough to stay up. She sleeps through the night and I hope it continues even if I move the bottle earlier. The past few nights I've been playing with 10 pm, and she still makes it through until 6:30 am.

Re: Question about feeding/bottles
Here is what we did..if i remember correctly:
I gave DS Oatmeal for Breakfast before a bottle. (meaning he'd get his morning bottle then around BF time...hed get the cereal..then the bottle scheduled for that time)
I did that once a day to see how he reacted..then twice a day.. bf and then Dinner..but I did it before the bottle bc they will be hungry and more likely to try the cereal. then once he handled that well.. I went to three times a day.....then at 6 months. I starte veggies.
ETA: we didn't drop any bottles bc they arent' getting enough to replace that "meal" yet.

Re: Question about feeding/bottles
Gotcha! I guess dropping a bottle happens later on then. Thank you!
