Formula Feeding Moms- How do you prepare bottles?
Do you have a supply in the frig ready to be heated? or do you make a fresh one every feeding?
I am bf'ing now, but formula may be in my short future!! I am at a loss on how to prepare efficiently.

Re: Formula Feeding Moms- How do you prepare bottles?
with RTF, I'd fill up as many bottles as the can would provide OR a pitcher and put it in the fridge since it's good for a certain time period.
With powder, I'd make them for the day OR measure out the powder and fill the bottle with water I had boiled and cooled to room temp. from a pitcher on the counter.
Then I started using the water from the fridge filter and she'd drink them cold.

With either the powder or RTF bottles after they've been opened, Imake about 4 bottles at a time and put them in the fridge. He takes them cold.

I make a tupperware jug fill of 32 oz at a time and then pour into bottles and heat as I need.

I would make the bottles at night for the next day, or as many as I could since I did part BM and part formula. I would heat and use when needed.

I fill each bottle (4 each) and keep the can in the fridge. I use the cat/dog food can tops to cover the formula, use them as I need it.

I used powdered Formula. I made them as needed with room temp poland spring.
Will do the same with #2 too, this time I am not warming them up!
DD refuses any kind of liquid that is cold

with RTF I would fill the bottles and put them in the fridge to be warmed.
With the powder, which is all he uses now, I do each bottle at a time using warm filtered tap water.

I use powder and make 24 hours worth at a time and pop them in the fridge. I don't warm them, she drinks them cold :)

Re: Formula Feeding Moms- How do you prepare bottles?
This is DH's job
We make as many bottles as we can for the next 24 hours worth of use (usually about 5 bottles)

We use the resealable RTF containers, so we fill up one bottle at a time, then put close up the container and put it back in the fridge.

Re: Formula Feeding Moms- How do you prepare bottles?
I pre-pour the water for the day into each bottle and put the formula into those compartment things. Then just pour the powder into the bottle as needed- she drinks them room temperature.
