Question about happiest baby on the block techniques...
I understand the 5 S's and they work great to calm Logan down.
But they always put him right to sleep.
My question: Is there no middle ground?
I either have a fussy crying baby or a conked out one.
Do I not get a content awake baby at a point using those techniques?

I used the techniques as well. Maybe if you only implement a few of them to get the baby to calm down and not all five. I think I'd fall asleep if someone did all of those things for me too!
My DD never really got to the sleep mode out of the 5 S's. I was lucky if she got to the "calm down" point. Her colic was BAD!! In many ways, you should consider yourself lucky.

Thank you.
I agree I'm lucky that he can be calmed to sleep. I just wish he had some happy waking time.
