Spinnoff to my own spitting up question
If I am BFing and DS is having reflux issues, can I change my diet to help him? I'd rather not medicate if I can help it.
TIA

I do believe so....you can cut back on anything acidic or gassy (tomato sauce, broccoli, etc).
You may try cutting back or eliminating dairy from your diet to see if that helps.

Re: Spinnoff to my own spitting up question
I would do what btrflygrl suggested. I BF and my DD had colic so I was always trying to alter my diet. I can't say whether or not it really worked but it's definitely all trial and error. It can't hurt to try changing what you eat. I know someone who lived on cereal, brown rice, boiled chicken and corn for months to help her DS's belly. I know for her the mild diet worked.

Re: Spinnoff to my own spitting up question
I think it is the milk I am drinking to be honest. I never really drank or craved milk until I was PG, but everyone told me to drink milk to help lactation so I did. I think I am switching back to soy or rice milk.
Thanks
