Question about hospitals and doctors
I don't have need for it now but I wanted to ask: Which is the best hospital for cardiology in Nassau? LIJ? Is Mercy considered good?
And does anyone have recommendations for a good cardiologist? Preferably the south shore, like around Oceanside/RVC/Baldwin/ValleyStream/ Long Beach?
Thanks!

I think St. Francis is the best hospital for cardiology.

Absolutely. It's known as the Heart Center Hospital. My mom has worked there for more than 20 years. I'll ask her when I see her tomorrow which cardiologist she recommends.
Winthrop is also good, but it doesn't rank with St. Francis.
