Question about incision area for C-Section Moms....
It's been almost 14 months and it STILL feels "funny" when I touch the incision area. Kinda numb and weird, KWIM? Anyone else have this? I thought it might have gone away by now. But maybe since nerve endings were cut through, this is permanent?

I'm only 10 months PP, and have the same thing. That's my understanding... you never really get all the feeling back there

Re: Question about incision area for C-Section Moms....
Im 8.5 months post partum and i have the same thing. Also for me, the area of my belly on the right side of me above my incision is also still numb, my doc said the nerves that they have to cut through haven't been able to find each other and reconnect.

22 months and it has gotten much better. But even on occasion if Ryan and I are playing and he lays/steps the wrong way on me I can feel a little twinge.

Re: Question about incision area for C-Section Moms....
almost 10 month PP and it is not numb anymore but was until about 6 months PP. I do however get twinges all the time and sometimes the area is itchy. It was actually aching for a little while the other day but I hear it is all normal..

Re: Question about incision area for C-Section Moms....
It's been over 6 yrs since my 1st c-section and over 3.5 yrs since my second one and I still don't have feeling there and around it, it feels funny. For me it'll probably be like that forever.

I am almost 20 months PP and I still have this! I just don't think the nerves are going to get their feeling back.
