Question about Jury Duty?
DH just got a questionnaire for Jury Duty for the first time. Neither of us has ever been called.
We live in Western Nassau County - is there a chance he would get called to a courthouse that is not in Nassau? If anyone has served, where do you live and where did you report?
We only have one car so if he gets called, I have no way to get to work unless it's feasible for him to drop me off first. But I work 30 minutes east of where we live, in western Suffolk County.
I want to ask my boss to work from home, but would like to know if there's a chance he will have a long commute on his hands when I discuss it with the boss man.
Thanks ladies.

Re: Question about Jury Duty?
was the questionaire from nassau county? If yes than he should be called to a nassau court. Otherwise it could be a federal jury and then he goes to brooklyn, but it's best to take the train there anyway.

Re: Question about Jury Duty?
Good point! Yes, it was Nassau. So he'd be going to Mineola, right?
That actually is a worse situation than what you mentioned - taking the train to Brooklyn. That definitely would have been easier.
