Question about level 2 about sex of baby
Did anyone ever have their level 2 and the tech (she was the sono dept. supervisor) say that the sex of the baby was either way she said that the position made hard to say anything and then on top of that the ambilical cord was blocking the view....
At one point she got a better view and she said that she couldn't see a peepee so she determined it to be a girl however she said not to go out and buy any pink dresses yet!
I am pretty much just as confused as before
Was anyone in the same situation? That they said it might be a girl? Was it indeed a girl? Did anyone have a boy?
More importantly the baby is super good the baby is moving great heart and all other body parts are perfect
THANK GOD

Re: Question about level 2 about sex of baby
I had a similar experinece. She told me the baby was being very shy about it's privates and had it's legs bent and/or closed the whole time.
HOWEVER- she didn't try too hard either because I had just seen the Dr and got the results of my amnio and he told me the sex from that.
However I would have been VERY disappointed walking out of there and not knowing for sure.
They did say that they let people come back a few weeks later for a quick scan to see if they can figure out the sex if the gender can't be determined at that Level II in my office.
Can you maybe ask if they will let you come back?

Ugh that is frustrating. If they are telling you not to paint the nursery then it's like you really don't know the sex at all. I'd be so pizzed too.

Re: Question about level 2 about sex of baby
maybe you can pay to get the 3d/4d one?
when i went the cord was between its legs but both the tech and dr said girl but it wasnt like I got a clear view of the area. I have to go back in 2 weeks to check on something they found so ive been holding off until then to officially register for girl stuff. i def understand what your going through
