question about MLS listing #s
If a house listed on MLS begins with a 199, can anyone tell me approximately how long it has been on the market?
TIA!

Re: question about MLS listing #s
You can't go by the #199 or what ever is on a MLS listing. Thats just the time that one agent has that listing. Each time a contract is up, changed realtors, changed brokerage houses, etc... The home gets a new mls number. So a house that has been on the market comes up as a new listing. I have seen homes on MLS for 2 years going off the market for a month or how ever much time and come back on as a brand new listing. Good luck trying to figure that one out.

Re: question about MLS listing #s
that's a pretty old number. you can always modify your search for newly listed homes and keep changing the date to figure out when it was listed. for example, search newly listed homes within 30 days and see if it comes up. if it doesn't, then change it to newly listed 60 days, and so on until the house pops up.
