Question about monitors
I registered for the Angel Monitor with the movement sensor. Does anyone else have it, and if so what are your opinions?

Re: Question about monitors
I have this monitor...someone raved about it so I figured I would go with it. It's great, no problems...however, we never felt the need to use the movement sensor part of it. So we probably could have gone with something less expensive.

Re: Question about monitors
We bought the motion sensor only version. We have separate sound monitors. Even though we wound up "not needing" it for either DC, it gave us a lot of piece-of-mind knowing that they were OK during the night. (Although my DS loved to shimmy to the edges of his crib and kick off the alarm every once in a while!... DD didn't do it, though)

Re: Question about monitors
I have the one that is sound and motion. I used it in the beginning, but stopped because it didn't have a "sound-activated" feature, so it never turned off and I heard all the noise from her room all night long (cars passing by on the street, her lullaby music playing, etc.) Also, it only had 2 channels to choose from for reception. I really didn't like it at all.
I ended up getting the Sony BabyCall which has the sound-activation button, and it has I think 27 different channels to choose from to get better reception.
If you have a preemie or a baby with medical problems, you might want the movement sensor, but I think for healthy full term babies it really isn't necessary. JMO.

Re: Question about monitors
I had that and the video monitor.
I loved both. I was so paranoid and gave me piece of mind. Esp when he started rolling over and sleeping on his belly. I just got rid of it a month ago when Andrew turned 9 months old.
I highly rec both
