Question about off property Disney hotels
I am thinking of doing Disney in the fall and staying at the Sheraton Vistana Resort but just wanted to know if they provide shuttles to Magic Kingdom and downtown Disney?
TIA!
We would be renting a car also

Most of them do, although the schedule of shuttles might not be as frequent as the actual Disney hotels or the "Good Neighbor" hotels

Most of them do - you can check the unofficial guide to WDW or mousesavers - they would probably be able to tell you on those sites. Just a warning - off site shuttles are notorious for being very unreliable (they run much less frequently and sometimes often don't show up when anticipated). If you plan to rent a car you are much better to just use that - then you will be on your own schedule and can come and go on your own rather than the every one or two hours the other shuttles run.

I'm not sure (since we had rented a car, we didnt have a need), but we stayed there and loved it !!!

We just stayed at the Sheraton Visitana in April --- loved loved loved the resort!!
We just cabbed it to the parks.

The Resort does provide shuttles but, they aren't that frequent - we ended up driving to the parks most days. We took a cab if we were going out in the evening.

we stayed there and loved it, we had our own car, i do not like waiting with the kids, having our own car just made it a lot better we went back to hotel for a rest or lunch and then went back to parks in the late afternoon.

dh and i stayed there in january as time share owners. there was a shuttle that we used every morning. it was infrequent.
as time share owners we had to pay for the shuttle, but the guy didn't even look at the ticket stubs, so most times it was free.
