Question about panties and clingy dresses
What kind of panties do you wear when you wear a dress that clings to your backside? If I wear a thong, it falls in the crack but I don't want to wear a full panty bc then your see panty lines. Is there a solution out there that I don't know about? TIA

Re: Question about panties and clingy dresses
I usually wear flexees. They are like spanx but not nearly as tight. They give a nice smooth shape and no lines.

I like anything with a scalloped lace edge.

Agreed. Really, any lacey thongs will do. Target has a pair that are very similar. They still kinda go in your crack, but it's not as uncomfortable. I've had to go commando, too, but only in a maxi dress.

Re: Question about panties and clingy dresses
I was thinking about this too recently. I was thinking of trying boy shorts. I generally don't like them but I bought a dress that I thought was a little longer so I don't think I could a thong.

Nope, the lace is really soft and thin. as far as the sides, it feels lke you are wearing nothing.

yes, i didnt read your post correctly at first so that particular thong doesnt solve your problem i guess. i didnt really look at my backside too much last time i wore a tight dress with them, so it was the other guests at the wedding's loss (or gain! lol)
they do make briefs and hip huggers, maybe try those?
janis, i did wear a tight dress and you couldnt see the lace outline at all.

I thought of briefs or hip huggers but then you have panty lines. I'm thinking of a soft Jersey material dress. So, it seems like so far, it's either crack or panty lines! Lol!

Question about panties and clingy dresses
I wear a brand called commandos. Nothing sticks to them and they're the most comfy underwear on earth

Commando!
This would solve the panty lines problem but not the crack problem...and might create some additional problems

Re: Question about panties and clingy dresses
what about spanx (or something like it)? it will suck everything in and leave a smooth outline

Agree. Side note, I haven't worn anything BUT thongs since I was 19. I never even notice the crack anymore!

Re: Question about panties and clingy dresses
a slip would probably prevent the dress from clinging too much & then you could wear whatever underwear you wanted.
Like this
.Or this (comes in different lenghts)
I don't think you would see the hem of the slip, but it depends on the dress.[/L]

I own something like this in nude and black - I wear them under so many of my dresses and nothing ever sticks where it shouldn't.
I got them at nordstrom rack for $20 each
