Question about postage - embarrassing
I should know this!
I am sending a card to Korea - can I just put one regular 39 cent stamp on it?

Re: Question about postage - embarrassing
No...you need to get overseas postage.
You have to go to the post office and get the correct postage

Re: Question about postage - embarrassing
I don't think you have to buy overseas postage..I send stuff to denmark all the time and just put a crapload of u.s. stamps on it....you can go onto usps.com and figure out how much it would cost to send a letter overseas...my guess would be between $.90 and $1.20...just put a bunch of U.S. stamps on it.

I am going to go to the PO and ask the dude that walks around helping people if I can put a bunch of US stamps on it instead of waiting on the long azz line.

Re: Question about postage - embarrassing
Nope! An air mail stamp is .84. Is it a card? If so, can you weigh it to make sure it's not over the weight?
You can then go to usps.com and get the rates. I did all my shipping overseas via the web.

Re: Question about postage - embarrassing
I've sent things to Brazil, Russia and Canada with US postage all the time.
Go to the USPS website and there is a postage calculator. Just get the $ amount, throw the stamps on it, and put it in the mailbox.
