Question about prunes & constipation
DD is constipated and I have some prunes here. I don't want any explosions (esp since we have to go out for the day) so how much should I give her and how long do they take to work?
TIA

Re: Question about prunes & constipation
I would start off with a 1/4 of the container for breakfast. If by the middle of the afternoon - nothing - then give her more

Re: Question about prunes & constipation
Prunes really helped my DD when she started solid foods. A couple of tablespoons to start should help things get moving. I still give them to my DD as one of her fruits...just not a whole container. She loves them!

prunes never helped my ds either. the only thing that worked was giving him a few ounces of water.
