Question about starting IVF
So another cycle bites the dust and Im out and officially on to IVF 
My question is since today is CD1, can I start meds for IVF at any time during the cycle? If it's the same deal as IUI's then Id have to meet with my dr and start meds between cd3-5.
If that's the case then Ill have to meet him within the next 5 days and with the holiday weekend coming up I highly doubt Ill be able to get in to see him and I'll be waiting til next month-again.
How does it normally work?
Just realized how nervous I am!!! EEK

I had to go in at the start of my cycle for a normal CD 3 appointment, and then started BCP, and made an appointment to come back 3 weeks later for bloodwork, and internal, and to start stims.

Thats what I was worried about. CD 3 is friday and he's not in. By the time I can see him it's CD7.
Im probaly going to have to wait, right?

Sorry about your last cycle. 
I went in on CD3 and started BCP. Is there anyone else in the office that could monitor you, or does it have to be your RE?

it depends on your protocol. if you are starting with BCP you can pretty much start any time early in your cycle, but the earlier the better. if you start too late and you ovulate through it you would just have to be suppressed longer. i would def try and get in soon if you are doing BCP.

ok awesome.. thanks for that.. we have an appointment for Tuesday which will be CD7. I normally dont O until 18-21.
should be ok then!

I just saw this.. he's off Friday so Im going to assume he's off Sat too. but ill try and all tomorrow :)

back to hemo i a month to check my protien s levels...then a month after that another ultrasound to see if clot is gone..if it is we can start if not we cannot so min 2 months
