Question appt first doc appt.

Since I had a MC w/my last pregnancy, the Doc told me I could come in early next time I got preg, just to make sure everything is going ok. Now my question:

Do you think I could, or has anyone else gone in for their first appt at 4 weeks or earlier? I was just wondering if they could take blood to check my levels and stuff, I know there would be no visable heartbeat or anything yet. I have heard of woman who went and had their bloodwork done and had low progesterone levels, so they were givin shots, and everything turned out fine. I guess since I don't know why I MC last time, I just am gonna be scared when we get preg again..which might be now...I think if they checked my levels and they were good, I would feel better....

Has anyone done this?

for me, my doctor told me to come back around 7 weeks.. like i did last time..

but i would just call the office and just tell them its your 2nd pregnancy after a MC and you want to come in earlier.. im sure it cant hurt.. and you would probably just have to go back to get a sono to check for the heartbeat..

OR, if you do get a BFP , leave a message for you doctor to call you and see what he says

I would call and see what they say! I am sure it wouldn't hurt to make an extra early appt!

Thanks ladies, I just want to make sure that, god forbid, I do have another MC someday..that we are aware it is happening, because I want them to do tests if it happens again.
