question- dream feeding and burping
i heard mixed responses about this one. my son is 4.5 months and is it true that by now you don't have to burp them, and they would be able to burm on their own. sometimes i do a dream feed around 11pm, and don;t want him to wake up, as its really tough putting him back to sleep, is it ok to put him down again with out burping, or is he going to spit up all over and be in pain???. TIA

Re: question- dream feeding and burping
Honestly, I think it depends on each particular child but I would burp DC. My DD is a bit over 5 months and I still burp her each time she takes a bottle. She has been able burp by herself but there have been times that I have had to burp her for 10 minutes before she can finally burp. When my DD is sleepy she usually just passes out on my shoulder as I burp her and I am usually able to set her down without waking her.

Re: question- dream feeding and burping
I never had to burp when I dreamfed but I've read it's not necessary. I can see if I can find where I read it.
