I have the same thoughts as a lot of the others here. I get migraines if I'm too stressed or don't get enough sleep, so I can't imagine having a baby or a toddler and dealing with a second and being able to survive. Plus, we also can't do two daycares at the same time. So, I think 4-5 years between. DH is only 2 years apart from his sister and he loved that and wants the same thing for our kids--sorry honey, but you need me to carry the baby and I'm not doing it that close!

hub and i have talked about it. i'm also in my 3rd tri. our baby will be born in late march. one of the things we've discussed - that's IF we decide to have another, was the timing. we would like to have our first baby become a little bit more independent. maybe 2 yrs old and then have another born the next May month. my hub's an accoutant. also, my baby was concieved w the help of ivf, so it also depends on whether the remaining eggs will be successful. thankfully, both dh & i are okay with the idea of having only one. in my condition.. we shouldn't be so picky ;P

Yes. DH says I will need a double stroller b/c we're having kids back to back! Hah!

I want to at least wait til this one is out of diapers!

Yes! We get wrapped up in the conversation too and one of us has to remind the other that we wanted to enjoy the first child a little longer. So we aren't going get pregnant again right away...but not too far after. Maybe once the baby turns 1 we will start. Right now I want them to have a about 2 years between them - but it'll probably be less. Who knows how this will change though.
